چکیده

Flotation wastes are becoming a valuable secondary raw material and source of many metals semimetals worldwide with the possibilities industrial recycling. The flotation tailings contain oxide sulfide minerals that have not been sufficiently stabilized form acidic mine waters, which in turn contaminate groundwater, rivers, reservoi6sediments. An effective way to recycle these is recover through leaching. While focus on acid bioleaching by iron- sulfur-oxidizing bacteria, alkaline leaching, removal iron-containing surface coatings contribute significantly overall environmental efficiency For this study, static percolate copper from waste at Bor Serbia was investigated then environments. aim study verify effect pH nutrient stimulation process element extraction. A sample taken site, characterized XRF analyses. concentration leached increased when dissolved during bioleaching. highest yield achieved after 9 days reached 67%. addition nutrients medium enhanced degradation Cu recovery 74%, while Fe Ag recoveries were affected. Combined media bacteria should be good reference for ecological wastes.

Copper Bioleaching in Chile

Chile has a great tradition of producing and exporting copper. Over the last several decades, it has become the first producer on an international level. Its copper reserves are also the most important on the planet. However, after years of mineral exploitation, the ease of extracting copper oxides and ore copper content has diminished. To keep the production level high, the introduction of new...

Bioleaching of Copper from Electronic Waste Using Aspergillus Niger and Acidithiobacillus

The main concern of this study is to establish a feasible and an economical method of extracting copper from electronic waste using Aspergillus Niger and Acidithiobacillus Thioxidans. Both Aspergillus Niger and Acidithiobacillus Thioxidans are known to exhibit efficient generation of organic acid and sulfuric acid respectively. To establish their leaching potential, chemical leaching tests usin...

A simple method for the recovery of selenium from copper anode slime sample using alkaline roasting process

The recovery of selenium from Iranian sar-cheshmeh copper anode slime has been investigated. Copper anode slimes are containing varying precious metals, such as: gold, silver, selenium and tellurium. They are being extracted as a by-product in the production process. Arsenic and antimony that present in anode slimes dissolved in 0.4 M KOH. Then, the alkaline roasting of anode slimes in the pres...
